Black symbolizes sexy, smouldering, bold attitude. A black smokey eye look changes the whole attitude of others towards you. Suddenly others perceive you a vixen, a don’t-mess-with-me lady, a rockstar, a complete kick ass female. Carrying a black smokey look is a challenge, it’s not for everyone and definitely not a every day look.
Green and purple are one of my favorite combinations, when it comes to dresses, jewelery and especially when it comes to eye makeup. Somehow, these colors call out to the inner princess in me and I have to get my hands on any makeup product with these colors in it. Of course, excluding lip and cheek products. LOL
Before Urban Decay happened to me, I hated blue colored eyeshadows with a fierce conviction that it was just not made for my skin tone. And then, I saw Evidence in the Urban Decay Smoked palette and I can’t believe that I had been missing out on such a regal shade. It really does look like the blue of Royals, and it was a real delight using it ( there I go Johnny English again! LOL ). Continue reading

Summer is almost over, Thank God! It’s a bad season for makeup, especially if you live in the Middle East. With the coming of autumn and then winter, it’s time to experiment with some deep dark smoldering makeup. My infatuation with Urban Decay continues. They just can’t seem to do anything wrong, especially where eye makeup concerns. After their Naked palettes, the next spot should rightly go to the Urban Decay Smoked palette.
