Urban Decay Naked 2 : Silvery Grey Eye Look

I gave some much needed love to my Naked 2 palette. I have been experimenting with various looks and I already posted a warm golden copper look here which I made with this palette, and so it was only fair to Naked 2 for me to do a cool silvery grey look as well. To my surprise I found that I liked this look a lot and has given me confidence to try out cool toned eye looks.

I read a lot on Internet that the Naked 2 palette is not as good as the original, as it has more cool toned colors and the palette is not as versatile. But when I went back to the palette (you can check my review on Naked 2 here) and looked at it more closely, I figured that some warm looks can be created with it. The below eye look is one of the warm shimmery looks I made with my Naked 2 palette.

Urban Decay Smoked Palette : Classic Black Smokey Look

Black symbolizes sexy, smouldering, bold attitude. A black smokey eye look changes the whole attitude of others towards you. Suddenly others perceive you a vixen, a don’t-mess-with-me lady, a rockstar, a complete kick ass female. Carrying a black smokey look is a challenge, it’s not for everyone and definitely not a every day look.

Green and purple are one of my favorite combinations, when it comes to dresses, jewelery and especially when it comes to eye makeup. Somehow, these colors call out to the inner princess in me and I have to get my hands on any makeup product with these colors in it. Of course, excluding lip and cheek products. LOL

Urban Decay Smoked Palette : Blue Smokey Look

Before Urban Decay happened to me, I hated blue colored eyeshadows with a fierce conviction that it was just not made for my skin tone. And then, I saw Evidence in the Urban Decay Smoked palette and I can’t believe that I had been missing out on such a regal shade. It really does look like the blue of Royals, and it was a real delight using it ( there I go Johnny English again! LOL ).

My Love for Nyx Slide On Eyeliners continues…

I have already raved about my love for Urban Decay eyeliners and how they convinced me to try eyeliners myself. Nyx Slide On eyeliners are cheaper then UD ones but nearly just as good with pigmentation and staying power ( check out the Nyx eyeliners review here ). They have 18 gorgeous shades and 4 just didn’t satisfy my greed. So I promised myself that I would get more shades from this range. I took advantage of the Lifestyle promotion last month and got myself more eyeliners.

Go to sleep wearing your kohl liner and you will wake up next morning with the same exact look, provided it’s not one of those kajals that creases up in the eye corner. You would end up with a “party all night” hungover look rather than the soft sexy morning look. LOL
